Dr. Ravindra Kishore Sinha, one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, and Founder-Chairman of SIS Group, passed away today at his residence in Noida.

Dr. Sinha’s life was a remarkable journey spanning journalism, public life and entrepreneurship. He began his public journey as a journalist and later went on to serve as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha. His contribution to public life and his warm and enduring association with the journalist fraternity of Bihar and the country will be remembered for years to come.With his passing, Bihar has lost an important and respected personality of public life. His demise is also being mourned across the journalistic fraternity as the end of an era.The mortal remains of Dr. Ravindra Kishore Sinha are being brought from Delhi to Patna for the final farewell. His mortal remains will be kept at Annapurna Bhawan, Patliputra, Patna, for people to pay their last respects. His last rites will be performed at Digha Ghat on Saturday.May the departed soul rest in eternal peace, and may God grant strength to his bereaved family, friends and countless admirers to bear this irreparable loss.
